Delete your account and data

You can delete your Sevra account and personal data at any time, directly from the app. This page explains exactly how to do it, what happens after you request deletion, what is permanently erased, what minimal records we keep (with your identity removed), and how to request deletion if you can no longer sign in.

We have written this to be clear and easy to follow. If anything here is unclear, email support@sevrafit.com and we will help.

How to delete your account in the app

Deleting your account from inside the Sevra app (iOS or Android) is the fastest way and works for all account types — solo athletes, coached clients, and trainers.

  1. Open the Sevra app and sign in.
  2. Go to your Profile tab.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Read the summary of what happens, then re-enter your password to confirm it is really you.
  5. Confirm the final prompt (Delete account permanently?) to submit your request.

As soon as you confirm, your account is locked and you are signed out on every device. You will not be able to sign in again while the deletion is pending.

What happens, and when

Deletion happens in two stages, with a 30-day grace window in between so you have time to change your mind.

  • Right away: your account is locked and all of your active sessions and sign-ins are revoked. You are signed out everywhere and can no longer log in. If you are a trainer or a coached client, your active coaching connections are archived.
  • During the 30-day grace window: your account is held in a locked state and your personal data is retained but inaccessible to you. This window exists so a deletion made by mistake can still be reversed. There is no in-app way to restore your account during this time — to cancel a pending deletion, contact support@sevrafit.com from your account email before the 30 days are up (see Changed your mind? below).
  • After 30 days: your personal data is permanently erased. This step is final and cannot be undone.

What is permanently erased

When the grace window ends, we permanently erase the personal data we hold about you, including:

  • Your profile — name, contact details, training goals, experience level, available equipment, and your injuries and medical-screening answers.
  • Your body measurements and other body metrics (such as height, weight, and body composition).
  • Your workout logs.
  • Your personal records.
  • Your AI-generated training plans.
  • Your weekly check-ins (weight and any optional energy, sleep, or recovery notes).
  • Your login credentials and any linked Google or Apple sign-in, along with your push-notification token.
  • If you used Sevra as a coached client or a trainer: any private coaching notes about you, and the personal details tied to your coach-and-client connection.

What we keep, and why

We keep only a minimal set of records after erasure, and we remove your identity from them so they can no longer point back to you. Specifically:

  • Audit and legal records: a minimal, de-identified log that a deletion was requested and completed. We keep this to meet our security, integrity, and legal obligations and to be able to demonstrate that your request was honored. It does not contain your training data and is not used to re-identify you.
  • Shared coaching history: if you worked with a trainer (or, as a trainer, with clients), some records form part of another person's history — for example, the existence of a coaching relationship and the programs created within it. We retain those records but sever every link to your identity, so they can no longer identify you, while preserving truthful history for the people you worked with.

Wherever practical, we keep these records in de-identified form. Under data-protection law, removing the link to your identity in this way is treated as erasure of your personal data while preserving non-identifying records that are genuinely required. We do not sell personal data.

If you can't sign in to the app

If you cannot access the app — for example, you lost your device or cannot recover your password — you can still request deletion by email.

  • Email support@sevrafit.com from the email address on your Sevra account.
  • Put "Delete my account" in the subject line so we can route it quickly.
  • We may need to confirm a few details to verify it is your account before we proceed.

Once verified, we will process the deletion for you. The same 30-day grace window and the same erasure described above apply.

Changed your mind?

If you requested deletion by mistake, you can stop it as long as the 30-day grace window has not ended. Email support@sevrafit.com from your account email and ask us to cancel the pending deletion. Once the grace window has passed and your data has been erased, the deletion is final and cannot be reversed.

Subscriptions and billing

Deleting your Sevra account does not automatically cancel a subscription that is billed through Apple or Google. If you have an active subscription, manage or cancel it in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings to avoid further charges.
